moon and Venus conjunction

Wow. Just seen the lunar and Venus conjunction in buxton whilst at work. Looks superb unbelievably clear. The crescent on the moon set against venus.

Took some pictures with small auto focus camera which are okay not as good as a dslr would be. But hey I captured it for posterity. Very exciting. Hope you got to observe it. Keep up the great advice etc on sgl.

I've looked at it over the last two mornings , it's a lovely sight to view while scoffing my alpen .

Saw it whilst walking the dogs but didn't have my camera with me (and didn't have tiume to get it! Grrrrrrhh!)

I saw it as I left for work this morning, tried to snap it with my phone, but although the moon came out ok, Venus was maybe only a couple of pixels, so sadly not the pic I wanted....

It was amazing. I got a picture on that morning, Feel free to take a look. If you zoom into venus you can make out the crescent.

It was a brilliant sight. For once no clouds in the sky at 06:00 whilst walking the dog....superb.
