Took these images on 12-04-2014. Nikon D5000 DSLR. Sky watcher 150P Newtonian, using eyepiece correction and eyepieces 25mm, 10mm and 2x barlow lens with moon and sky glow filter attached. Some cloud about, fair viewing conditions.

Taken at about 21:45 in the evening using Sky watcher 150P , eyepiece correction with 25mm wide view lens and x2 Barlow lens. Used Nikon D5000 DSLR . Set at 1/30 shutter speed and ISO 400. Apeture NA as couldn't alter this due to no camera lens attached. Next obs I will try and experiment with using the zoom on the DSLR with the eyepiece correction and see what images are like then.© Simon Youd

You can pick out the huge impacts the Moon has sustained in its past with the debris rock etc thrown great distances across the surface.© Simon Youd
