Surprisingly good seeing tonight.

Very good view of Jupiter and GRS- an obvious salmon pink.

Also saw a moon occult.

I agree - it was superb here until the thin cloud got that bit thicker, just after the GRS crossed the central meridian. I think the earlier thin cloud actually helped make the view of Jupiter better.

I got about 20 minutes of beautiful clear observing in before the clouds rolled in. Clear and crisp. Had the neighbours come in to have a look as well.
