Which Glue?

I need to glue a red dot finder to my OTA.

Both surfaces are metal. Any recommendations as to what sort of glue I should use?

don't. Glue might not come off, or peel off the paint or something.

I used double sided sticky pads for my RDF. Keeps it in the right place well but comes off when you want to put it on a different OTA, or move it, or whatever. You don't need it stiff and rigid for an RDF IMHO. These are the ones I used, but probably any will do the job.

I glued mine on. The sticky pads were just not sticky enough! I used one of those 2 part epoxy type glues. I think Araldyte is the brand name but I just bought B&Q's own Works a treat!

Trim tape from a car accessory shop..the stuff they stick number plates on with..

Why glue or sticky pad it..can't you get an adapter for the foot that's on there??

If you can't find any PM me your address and i'll bung a piece in the post..I have rolls of the stuff we use it in work for sticking poster boards up..

Araldite is used to glue carbon fibre to stuff so it's definitely gonna work.

Be aware though that it takes about 20mins to dry and 24 hours to cure completely

Go to your local radio control model shop and ask for servo tape, sticks like sh*? to a blanket..........
