First play with 150 mak and DSLR

Not superb, but im very pleased as this was grab an go with Mak 150 pro and olympus pen dslr, yes focus is a little of as always but a promising start taken at prime focus set up on AZ4 mount

Great shot Nightfisher. 

How do you like using the Pen DSLR?  I use a PEN EPL1 which does take some good planetary shots but there is always a fair bit of movement when the shutter opens.

To be honest i have the same EPL 1 and i dont really like it for any astro work, a canon would be a lot better but i would lose so much if i got rid of it

I think you did well Jules given your on a manual mount with a long focal length scope and (I'm guessing??) pen dslr with out live view. I have everything in my favour yet I still manage to get the focus of LOL.
