The cone nebula with a xmas tree and a fox

after an uneventful early part to the evening  (will be needing new eqdir lead  )with the use of the handset I finally got to the cone and xmas tree. I've been wanting to do this one for a while, didn't know about the fox nebula until it was pointed out to me last night, I will be getting a lot more ha on this, so for now this is 18 x 900 secs ha, gear as in sig.

can't seem to be able to get rid of the bloatiness in that star either.

Very nice, lots of detail there. Sometimes you can do a "masked stretch" (PI has that tool implemented as a script) which prevents the stars from growing in the first place. I'm sure people using PS might be able to give you suggestions

in this direction.
