Looking 4 Star Chart Software that runs on Mac

We have been considering looking a Star Charts to become familiar with the Sky's over N. CA. And, we have thought about using our Computer. Can anyone recommend a good Star Chart Application that runs on the Apple Mac Computer?

Stellarium says that it has a Mac version: 0-12-4.dmg

No idea of the features but it is free so you can try and either keep or delete.

You will have to look hard to beat the free software from Stellarium.

It costs, but Sky Safari Pro is the best out there and well worth the money!! It runs on OSX, iOS, and android. Beautifully engineered software!

Definitely Sky Safari for Mac's and Stellarium for PC's.

Another good one (free to d/l) is Cartes du Ciel. It's a bit more techie than Stellarium and not so flashy - but good down to Earth rock solid astronomy stuff. And it will control most goto mounts very effectively. Well worth looking at.
