cotterless45
Working my way through "Double stars for small telescopes", very pleased to find 12 Lyncis and at x200 a really lovely triple group. Worth finding,http://www.perezmedia.net/beltofvenus/archives/000847.htmlAlso 4 Lyncis, a tight .7" at x200.5 Lyncis, but B not seen due to the Moon.A lovely ST 1033 at x48, again the x200 split will have to await the new Moon.Nick. YKSE
200x on 12 Lyncis, nice view 0.7" separation of 4 Lyncis is about Rayleigh limit of an 8", should be the ultimate test for C8's double splitting capability, not doable though last night. lunator
I have split 12 Lyncis at x180 both white, funnily enough the c component I have logged as blue and greenish on separate occasions. I like that fact that you can get STF946 &948 in the same field.STF1033 was split at x180 I have the colours down as white/white/blueCheersIan
