For months I've been looking at various telescopes and mounts and thought I had made my mind up but after reading hundreds of posts on here, searching hundreds of images, trawling the net and by talking to others I've decided to wait until next year before I buy anything. I would rather have a bigger budget to use after I've done more homework. I'm just going to stick with my binoculars for the next while. I would love a scope that didn't weigh a ton, wasn't bigger than me,(5'2) and could take pics like Hubble.. Thanks for all the help so far...

Well.....I said I was going to wait until next year before buying a scope

but life is too short and there are so many dark skies before then so I ordered a Skywatcher 200p. No doubt I'm going to be struggling with it for a good while and my bins will be by my side as always but I've got to admit that I'm really looking forward to it's arrival.
