First sunny day

First sunny day for a while round these parts. Excellent solar images with little wind to disturb them, both main active areas around the two prominent sunspot groups showing substantial flaring in Ha at 11.35am. One of the large sunspots had a bright flare in the light bridge that was bisecting it and nearby filaments looked much darker than usual. 4" Flourite Vien PST mod X40-X111 with zoom eyepiece.

I nearly got my Lunt out this morning - but was too busy doing dob mods. Now you're making me regret not doing so Peter. lol :)

How stupid of me   Reading your post just made me realise its sunny and I could have got the scope out
