Welcome

I am wondering which scope you have bought?

As a newbie myself, I have found the information on here to be very useful.

 H Reeny, I've bought a Skywatcher 200p.

You won't go wrong with one of these.

The tripod mounted 200p's are a bit bulky for me to use as a 100% portable piece of equipment.

Lugging it in and out of the house would be awkward.

Finding space for it in the motor home would be nearly impossible.

So your shed observatory sounds like a brilliant idea.

I ordered our new 200p Dobsonian today.

Can't wait for the delivery to arrive.

One corner of the dining room has already been allocated for storage.

A short carry to the back door and Bob's your uncle.

I used to have a "high street" 60mm refractor, years ago. I've bought a Skywatcher 200p. Just bought a GSO 40mm plossl to go with it. I intend to sent up in the garden first, eventually converting a shed to house2"

200p good choice will give you superb views and loads of fun congrats

                             Clear skies
