Digital Camera Question

Hi All,

I have a Olympus FE-210 7.1mp camera with a 1Gb card on board. It has a night setting + it seems I can set a 2 second exposure!!

Ive been looking at this

What could I do / expect?.

Hi Rob

Well you could do some afocal photography by fitting your camera lens to one side and the eyepiece to the other of the adapter and take short exposure shots of the Moon and brighter planets.

I have taken all my double star pics with a compact using a clamp.

It's lowest shutter speed is 2 seconds and this allows me to get down to Mag 8-8.5

Thats interesting then... I could manage something with a 2 second shutter!!

Could be good Rob, I'm doing some afocal bits with my Canon Powershot A610 and I'm enjoying it . One thing you might want to find out is get as much manual control to get the ISO settings, shutter speed etc etc and find the timer option. That makes life a whole lot easier!! One thing though, if you're planning on doing through your C8 it may limit what you can pick up as it's a pretty slow scope...
