Certainly not putting on the display that we all thought it would this time last year, but a comet is a comet and hopefully we'll all get a chance to chase it down.
would we expect it to be anything more impressive at this point in its journey? I know since it reappeared from behind the sun astronomers have said it is not as bright as expected but surely it won't become the impressive comet we hope for a few months yet? My main concern with ison is its going to appear low in the east at dawn at its most bright and where i live that's the worst possible place it could be in an observing sense . still time to go fingers crossed it won't disappoint.
