Might I suggest that you shoot more Ha (perhaps 12x900), then use that as a Lum layer, pasting this version in as a colour layer? It should do a good job in sharpening it up a bit more.

Ah... Good call. I shot around 4 hrs of Ha on the ED80 at the same time. I've yet to take a look and process. FOV will be less so not sure if it'll work as well but I might as well run it through RegiStar & see.

Ok.. here's a rough and ready idea.. just had a quick go with the Ha from the ED80, no calibration files. PI handled the registration/rescale so didn't bother with Registar. I don't like the blue holes appearing around the stars so need to work out what to do with that.

I'm looking at it now wondering what an Astrodon 3nm would be like on it... oh dear!
