Carmathen astronomy club?

Hello.My neice and her young children are interested in buyin g a telescope at Christmas.I might suggest to them that they go to an astronomy group.Does anyone know if there is one close to Carmathen?

There is a "West Wales Astronomy Group". They meet 7:pm at the Drovers Arms in Puncheston on the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month, however, it is further from Carmathen than Swansea.

I would check before going as i am not sure that they do meet i might be wrong though

one of the members who used to meet there did not even know they were still going so i would give the drovers a ring and check first
