Paulus17
Got myself an EQ3 mount with GOTO from a forum member recently and after using it on the day i received it,thats a first, i had trouble trying to hold the torch to light the polar scope while trying to align. So seeing as how there is no illumination in the polar scope i made this so i am hands free when aligning. Its a bendy light that i had so attached it to a piece of suitable ply and velcro so it cane be removed when aligned.Just gotta get some suitable nail varnish to paint the bulb red. JamesF
An interesting method for doing it I made mine from some 32mm waste pipe fittings and an LED and was very pleased with it. It really does make life so much easier when you can see both the reticle and the stars.James
Gina
I used AstroTortilla for PA but for that you need a computer, EQMOD and connection to your mount, of course. Very easy
