Hi

Finally managed to get out with my scope and camera last night and needed a quick fix.

Here's M27 - the dumbell nebula taken with my C8 using a Meade F3.3 reducer and Baader Moon & Sky Glow filter - AGC High, x512.

Raw frame capture:

And a quick stack of 20 frames in DSS, post processed in PS to remove gradient.

Dark Nights are on their way!!

I also had a go at M57 The Ring Nebula - At F3.3 (660mm F/L) it was very small and too bright (turned the AGC to LOW), think I might get way with the F6.3 reducer or maybe even native F10!

Looks like clouds tonight though :embarrassed:

Thanks for the comments

And here's my M57 taken on the same night - AGC set to low because at HIgh it burned out the ring.

I need to try this at F6.3 or maybe even F10 - it's bright enough!

Focus look out as well but there is a hint of the central star.
