Didn't bother taking data this morning due to thin cloud in the hope it would improve as the day went on. It did and it was beautiful whilst I was stuck in the office and then the thin cloud returned just in time for me to get home Went out and grabbed a couple of 120 frame sets, one at ISO 100 and 1/200th second and the other at ISO 400 and 1/1000th second. Second set stacked much better and produced the image below.

Don't think the cloud has done you any favours at all there, David, but under the circumstances I think that's a good result. And as things work out the more interesting things are happening at the edge of the image where the definition is better anyhow

Very nice given the conditions. AR1785 seems to be shrinking as it approaches the limb. I do not think it is just a foreshortening effect, but it may actually be getting smaller.
