uhc filter

Does it make any difference whether the uhc filter is placed in front of the diagonal or the

eyepiece or will the result be just the same no matter where it is placed.

I have tried both but could not see any difference.

As I am only a newbie maybe I can't see any subtle difference that a more experienced observer

would notice.

Shouldn't make any visible difference at all. Placing it in front of the diagonal, or in the adaptor if using a 2" diagonal with 1.25" eyepieces means you don't have to swap it around when you change eyepieces but should have no impact on the view.

I did'nt see any difference but I thought I'd ask just incase I was missing something.

There are a lot of very knowledgable people on this board and I appreciate greatly that they are willing to share their
