Carbon fibre reinforcment of newtonian

I am contemplating reinforcing my Skywatcher Quattro 10" tube with a band of carbon fibre around the tube at the height of the focuser.

Would it be better to reinforce the inside or the outside of the tube?

Have you also concidered light weight tube rings that attach to the focuser and reduce any flex?

I doubt that there would be much difference performance-wise between the inside and outside.

Outside would be easier to clean up but would still be visible, Inside will be hidden but a bit harder to clean up neatly.

On further consideration I think I would go for the inside purely from the aesthetic point-of-view.

I fitted 2 full rings around the end of my Newtonian on the outside of the tube.

I wasn't worried about the looks , but only to eliminate any flex in that area.
