Home click or something

Recommended Posts

Guess that the small click would cause a vibration and upset imaging to even a minor extent.

Any click mechanism would need to be mechanical and so there will be minor changes in the rate as the clicker is "primed" then comes the "crash" of the clicker on some part of the mount.

Insignificant to a visual person but imagers are talking about pixels in the micro-meter sizes.

For what purpose?

Knowing that the mount is set to 0,0 when you're trying to polar align it (fine tuning too).

it would also be trivial to make a click disengage-able with a switch, screw, or something like that.
