Book recommendation

Having watched the S@N the other night, I was wondering if someone can rec. a good book on star formation, life and death. Something semi-scientific, rather than "man on the street" ...

Stardust is a marvellous read. Not that scientific, but still, I think it is something everyone should read. Picked my copy up at amazon for a couple of €s, why it is now going for £102 I have no idea

Perhaps it's available from your local Library or Library system, it's worth checking what's in the catalogue.

Notice that you have a lovely 12" Light Bridge with custom setting circles and some very nice ep`s, you no doubt enjoy star hopping, then get yourself a copy of Robert Garfinkle`s "Star-Hopping", there is a wealth of information on stars and their make-up throughout the Constellations he takes you through. Copies can be had s/h at a reasonable price

I'm "push to" with my iPad for navigation (luminos) and my setting circle and wixey for Alt and Az ....very accurate these days, but I'm not good at star hopping, I know I should be, so I might take a look, thanks

Qualia, thanks. I ordered this and it arrived today. Looks like it will be a good read. Not bad for £2.81 !!!
