Moon in H-Alpha (10 x 0.01s subs)

Update on my single frame of the moon using 1 frame. Now have 10 subs stacked in AA5 and processed in PS CS3 using levels, curves etc

That's interesting you appear to have got a lot of definition to the lower right, I noticed on many of my DSLR images that light area easily gets over exposed and loses detail. If I am not mistaken it may be down to that extra dynamic range you get with a dedicated astro-CCD camera, did you use the 383?

Hi Tony - Yes , used the 383L+ mono with Baader 7nm Ha filter. Worked with the file in fit format as long as possible so as not to loose too much data, the converted to 16bit tiff files (via Fit-Liberator) before tweaking in PS.
