Moon in H-Alpha

Single frame from a set taken last night while waiting for the sky to get dark. Shot with a Baader 7nm H-Alpha filter through thin high cloud with an MN190 and Atik 383L+ mono camera.

Captured and initial processing in AA5, then further levels/curves in PS.

Thanks Michael, lot of playing around afterwards. Shot 40 frames in total just not had time to try and stack them...

I think that's excellent for a single frame. Is there some particular reason you're using H-alpha or was it just out of interest?

Hi James, There was quite a bit of high misty cloud here last night and choosing the red end of the spectrum just helped me punch through it (slightly)
