Hi, newby here. This is a Jupiter from 14/10/2011 taken with a OO 300mm f6 newt on a CGEM, using a canon G9 afocally. (640x480@30fps) 750 frames taken from 2000.

Thanks for the comments. This is about as good as I can manage, have not delved into the dark side of processing with Winjupos ect just using RegiStax and image analyzer.

Am a bit in awe of some of the members on here who produce some amazing shots of the planets. ​When I started trying to image planets back in the late 70's it was single shots and the results were nothing like what's achievable with modern techniques.

This is about the best single image I have managed to get before
