It has been a while since I have managed to get any lunar imaging done so I was pleased to see clear skies when I got home from work. I was a race against time before the sky clouded over, but for once I managed it!

William Optics ZS80FD, 2x barlow + spacer, Canon 450D.

120 frames taken 1/1000th @ ISO1600

Preprocessed with PIPP selecting best 100 frames.

Stacked + wavelets in RegiStax 6.

Slight tweak in Photoshop.

Very nice, Chris. I didn't forget about the comet, but the cloud was coming in so fast that I clearly wasn't going to see it this evening.

Very nice image Chris. Lucky old you to be able to grab your frames before the clouds rolled in. We seem to be getting nice days at the moment but as soon as the Sun starts to set, the clouds roll in!
