Many thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. I shall start getting advice from people in the near future about hardware to purchase, in the beginners section, but I've still got some reading to do first :)

Thanks.

I believe I may have read a thread you made not all that long ago, about trying to get a meet going. I would certainly be interested. While I have no equipment of my own, I'd appreciate the opportunity to learn from others.

Next time its clear and can find a suitable place Ill bring the Dob out.
