Cheapest tracking mount

AP is not particularly my thing, but I have a passing interest.

A mate of mine is getting an SLR in the very near future and we've briefly discussed using it on it's own for a dabble into AP.

What would be the cheapest tracking mount to just mount an SLR on, no telescope, just the SLR?

I'm guessing I wouldn't need anything fancy like an EQ6 or the like so is there a "SLR only" mount for cheaper at all?

Thanks :)

I was going to ask what an egg timer tracker was, that's a new one for me.

Is this it?

Something like that. The one I saw was an equatorial platform

and yes my list was listed in order of cost. I reckon the egg timer tracker will cost £5 more to make than a standard barn door tracker.

The Ioptron skytracker is $349 here holds over 6 lbs, comes with a polar scope and pops on any camera tripod would be the easiest to set up and use in that price range.Give you the best results from the pictures i've seen just my take.
