Olly P's Ha Lunt80 massive loop

Just a simple image from Olly P's Lunt 60 (not 80!), taken one morning, through the Titan and my own OSX drivers and capture app - stacked using Registax 6 running under wine. No tracking mount just simple drifting imaging using an AltAz mount.

Hefty amount of drizzle with about 20 frames stacked.

This has a very subtle massive loop.

Very good, nice to see the very faint detail but at a loss of the brighter features. Still a great capture though

There is a big difference in brightness between various parts of the sun and the proms. To get the faint stuff you have to over expose others.

What I tend to do is take two images, one for the proms and one for the disc.

There is some nice features in your image, nice one.

Quite some activity captured there. Combining long and short exposures is indeed the way to go
