can i control HEQ5 with stellarium

I seem to remember reading some where on here that i might be able to use stellerium to control my HEQ5 syntrek, i have my old laptop that has the right port on it, if this works could some one post some guide lines as to doing this

I use stellarium on my heq5. You will need one of these.

I had to tweak a bit but when its working I think it works great.

For mac use EQMac and Stelarium both plus the USB to Serial adapter.

(FTDI chipset is best for Win7 and OSX, latest drivers)

I control my eq5 with Mac alone.

I have this one and it works perfectly both on Win7x64 and OSX 10.6.8. (make sure is ver.2 on the cap)
