Me too. A couple of small breaks, but looks like no asteroid tonight.

It was never going to be any different was it? I'm assuming solid cloud for March and the visit of comet C/2011 L4 then?

You can bet on it..........I have pretty much given up astro for the time being. I cant be bothered with lugging the kit around for FA when I can sit indoors and work on my rockets.

It's a real thorn in the side the weather here in the UK. I had every intention of getting the scope out tonight to take some shots of the moon and, you've guessed it, some low cloud came in as soon as I got the mount out!

Took a few day shots of the moon earlier, left mount out for night, got to Circa 730pm took scope out, cloud rolled straight in.

Last night got to 8 , was so hazy thought wouldn't clear, opened a bottle of wine, got to 930 looked pretty much crystal clear, but didn't go out as had few too many by then. Feels like will never win!!
