If the skies clear I'll be using a pair of binoculars in the hope of seeing something but the weather isn't looking good enough here.

I was hoping that I'll be able to find a telescope tracking it online somewhere. Maybe someone will be kind enough to post a link? :D

Is it bad form to post 3 times in a row?! :D

I just realised that you don't have to register for anything - you just go to the web page! D'oh! :embarrassed::p

Of course, no-one would have realised that I was an idiot if I had been able to edit my original post... maybe thats why you can only start editing posts after you make (however many it is... 50? 100? I can't remember but I'm sure I read something about it earlier)

As you were chaps & chapettes.

I'll have a go with binoculars if it is clear enough. Will be interesting to see how fast it moves ie will it obviously move against the background stars or just be something that you notice over the hours?

If this is anything to go by Stu it's not going to be hanging around http://binocularsky.com/binoc_transient.php having covered a fair old patch of sky before loosing the suns luminance

If it happens to be clear, I might try to locate it with bins. Then move onto the finder scope, then visual in the eyepiece.

After that I might try to quickly hook up the video camera and attempt to manually track it for a while whilst capturing an AVI. That`s the plan anyway.
