Two finder bases on a refractor

Recommended Posts

If you drill the tube close to where the focuser fits then I see no reason why it would impact the light path as long as you didn't use 2" bolts to fit it :)

There were those 2-to-1 finder foot adaptors that someone posted a link to the other day which would save drilling the tube at all. I'll see if I can find the link.

Here they are. Looks a bit pricey to me, to be honest, but if you know someone who is handy with a bit of metalwork...

Look good but as u say bit pricey for what they are. I don't mind drilling tube as I want to upgrade stock focused in due course.

But then there is the moonlite (drawl)
