First Ha image - Feedback Appreciated

so after much messing around this is what I got.

So I have and RGB image from Dec time processed and then a few days ago took 2 hours worth of 300 Sec exposures using my Ha Filter

I then took both images into Registar and combined them and then back to Photoshop for a few tweaks.

I guess there are other ways but this is my first attempt so happy to be corrected.

A couple of thoughts on this image - I think you've clipped the blacks and lost some of the faint detail. Also, I'm not sure that the focus was absolutely nailed although it's not far off. A good attempt with a DSLR and an Ha filter.

Your sky is pretty well pure black so you probably still chopped off some faint stuff when you set the black point. A quick adjustment with the Shadows/ Highlights tool in PS (and some selective NR) reveals a little more.
