It's arrived

Well, after much soul searching and reading and asking on forums I have finally gone and done it!

My shiny new Sky-Watcher 250 PDS and NEQ6 mount arrived Friday and I have spent the morning putting it together

Now all I need is some clear skies to get out there and start with the imaging

Exactly what I had before I switched to the C925. The 250 was a great scope and gave me some of my best views of Mars a few years ago. Sadly it became too big for my dodgy back and had to go

Great choice IMO. Hope you get some fun this weekend.

You could also have a quick set up for it by making a dob base for it. Having both options is very handy..

Thanks all, be next week now before I get out with it as tonight is out and I work away from home in the week so here's hoping for some clear skies next weekend.

Off to collect a modded Canon 450D this week too.

Been messing this afternoon with software to control the mount, got it working with Stelarium today, Cartes du Ciel and PHD tomorrow and I am all set
