Jupiter 9th January after the TV show

Thought I'd have yet another go at Jupiter, this time I believe my focusing is the best I've ever achieved with my trusty 130mm.

Hope you like it. Shame the GRS was not visible....

A little tweak to bring out some more colour.

I was going to have a go at it last night just got set up slewed the scope to Jupiter & literally got fogged out. Was not to pleased so everything got lugged back upstairs, I was shattered afterwards!!

Thats a bit of a pea souper!!

Luckily although there was some mist over the nearby fields, looking straight up wasn't so bad for me.

Ah well better luck next time I guess, this has happened to me twice now.

I know what you're going through, on 3 occasions recently I've got home and thought wow clear skies only to set the telescope up in time for clouds to come rolling in within 5 minutes of observing :-(
