Andromeda first time

Just had to put on here as I was do pleased i managed to find Andromeda for the first time about fifteen minutes ago. went out for a cig and thought i would take the binos out with me as the skies are quite clear. had a quick view around at the orion neb and pleiades. and then found Andromeda.

I am so pleased it was only a fuzzy thing but hay i saw it..

Can't wait to get my scope on it now.

I really enjoy finding objects for the first time either with my scope or bins and generally once you've done it once the next time is easy.

Way to go. Some objects are better in binos than scopes.

Dead easy to find, once you know where it is. My girlfriend was bouncing round the garden, in excitement, the first time I showed her.

I found it for the first time xmas night through my bins i had for xmas my first galaxy.

it's a great feeling when you discover these things for the first time your self. I am still awaiting to get my new scope out, not one clear enough night still after three weeks of waiting.
