Amasing what some small spikes can do to a pic...

Personally i think i like your original pic better though, but that's just my personal opinion. ^^

Either way it's a very nice pic.

It is a nice image but if you are going to add spikes I think they look better not exactly vertical/horizontal

Sorry but IMO adding optical defects to an image that's perfect is an odd thing to do. Of course you can do/add anything with PhotoShop (and other software). Each to his/her own though...

Nice image, I don't mind diffraction spikes myself as long as the image isn't completely dominated by them, even the background to SGL has diffraction spikes:D I wouldn't go out my way to add them though. Have you thought about getting a Newt? it would save you needing to add them:)
