Is this kit worth spending the money on?

are the filters any good?

I cannot see that much going for it, the Kellner eyepiece isn't great - usually people say to avoid them, a 6mm plossl might be useful but the quality will most likely not be high. Suspect you have a barlow anyway. I have never used a filter so cannot eally say if they are any use at all. The case could be useful.

The thing to remember is they are supplying 2 eyepieces, a barlow, 3 filters and a case for what amounts to £40.

You could pick up better quality items on most of that stuff for very little increase in cost. If you go for some decent 2nd hand EP's then you will be quids in I reckon.

I'd also stay away from it. You will do much better sourcing individual EP's and barlow yourself. If you really do want to go down the kit road then the Revelation Photo Visual EP kit is about the best there is.

id also go one or two individual decent e/p's would be a much better investment, especially second hand .
