from the back garden of my temporary home in Gellilydan near Blaenau Ffestiniog

Only 6 frames stacked from my 5D MkII and 24mm f1.4 lens, shot at iso 800, 30 seconds @ f2.8. With only 6 frames before some haze came through I didn't bother with darks or flats. Even at 24mm fl on a ff sensor at 100% magification there is still noticable star trailing at 30 seconds. Personally I think 15 seconds at this FL is probably better with a static setup

It was really nice being able to step outside and see the Milky Way with the naked eye

It would of been nice to get 50+ lights and add in darks and flats but to be honest just getting out again was a real pleasure.
