rory Posted October 14, 2012 Share Posted October 14, 2012 after seeing such amazing photos and dark site /large aperture sketches i wanted to do a quick sketch of m31 and show it as i see it from my light polluted town.m103 open cluster was also sketched tonight before dew got the better of my equipment. Funnily enough I've found that some open clusters actually appear more striking when I view them from home with a little LP compared to from a dark site where the cluster can become a little lost amongst all the extra background stars.Nice sketches mate.
