I'm enjoying sketching the Messiers but to be honest I'm itching to start on some new objects.

Have you got a list planned (Caldwell/Herschel?) or are you going to stick with the Messiers?

i think on the whole i want to sketch as many messiers as possible in my little art pad, but im thinking of getting a new log book ( my current one is a rough note book that ive used since day one with the scope and its a mess) with a new log book i think i'll do very quick rough sketches to compliment my notes, and plan on concentrating on constellations rather than individual objects.
