M17 Omega nebula topup (Ha)

Tonight has providied an unexpected couple of hours clear sky so I managed to top up the Ha channel for M17.

Needed to process this one by composting as the core of the nebula is real easy to blow out when youre in pursuit of the outer fluff. Now there is much less noise im getting better results from my usual processing routine (highpass filter on overlay layer, and some moderate sharpening). Still have yet to add the colour, I'll get round to that sometime tomorrow as I need a bit of sleep!

Nice on Rob, I think there's a lot more detail showing now you haven't had to use as much post-processing. Look forward to seeing it in colour again
