A eastern view before sunrise - not to be missed

Up 1 hour before sunrise and what an interesting site. Directly east - Mercury on the horizon, directly above is venus and then jupiter with the 4 galilean moons (2 on each side) and counted 5 others. To the right of of jupiter is hyades. The star aldebaran joined this group and the bonus includes two asteroids vester and ceres. Not to be missed. Understand that one of these asteroids is next to aldebaran tomorrow morning. Worth getting up early, enjoy the view and how each fades with the sun rising.

Yep, got them all this morning. Mercury was quite low, Venus showed a crescent and Jupiter lovely with one moon on it's own and the other 3 in an opposing line. Aldebaran stayed bright and red. Then swung over to the waning, clear and bright Moon, nice.

Nick.
