Last night was superb. Here's a single 20 sec exposure of the Cygnus area taken last night. Took quite a number but having problems with both DSS and AA5 combining the frames. Final combo looks like I've zoomed the lens during the exposures producing radial streaks?

Thanks Richard, Spent a good deal of time today putting together manually the 17 frames shot last night. Had to do this in photoshop using the transform/distort functions on each layer. Even then it hasn't been a great match right across the whole frame so I've cropped it down to a squarer image...

(I do hate the fact you can't edit posts)

Found the biggest source of light pollution here is the spill from the lighting to the church tower, that the cause of the lower 2/3rds being a bit orange

There is a group called the Exmoor Stargazers but I don't know how often they meet, Dulverton I think.

The couple that run it come to the NLO at Sidmouth some times.

We have quite a few members who come from the Tiverton area

Im the chairman of exmoorstargazers

We meet last Thursday of the month at the Dulverton Middle School @ 7pm

We have only been going a short time so still growing.

as far as the forums concerned most of it is hidden member only
