Took the Star Travel 120 out for go!!. 3rd light :?

I managed to finally get out the other night, and besides the full moon point at some deep sky objects. Firstly I took a look at my old favorite M57 in Lyra. The 120 Refractor did very well!. I used a 1.25 diagonal & 13mm 68 degree Hyperion. The ring was well formed, but no middle star visable.. the skies were not 100%, but I was happy to be out TBH. Next was M27, very nice (as always), good structure and almost 3d looking!!. The 120 Refractor is a little gem TBH. Next was Alberio. Very nice site. But cant wait to get back out under moon less skies with the better focuser I'm waiting on!!.

Great report mate. I'm waiting on the same focuser for my 102mm f5. The way to see the middle star in M57 is just to whack up the magnification to x400 - x500. Its kills the detail on the object but the central star is visible.

Right will do Gaz, cheers. The guy I'm buying the focuser from has been very hard to get hold of!. I paid a week ago and nothing through yet!.
