Off to Oz

Well I'm off back to Oz tomorrow for a couple of months, gunna have to get my hands on a scope of some sort. can't wait

I was there for a month myself.

Around Brisbane and as far north as Hervey Bay.

Night sky there, even in the middle of Brisbane was simply awesome!

So so many more stars visible than I can see from our back yard in Manchester.

Really does emphasise just how bad light pollution really is here.

I just wish I'd been able to take our telescope with us.

Yeah I had a look at the l.p map and we really do have it bad. Still, its pretty awesome even with the lp.
