I was there for a month myself.

Around Brisbane and as far north as Hervey Bay.

Night sky there, even in the middle of Brisbane was simply awesome!

So so many more stars visible than I can see from our back yard in Manchester.

Really does emphasise just how bad light pollution really is here. :(

I just wish I'd been able to take our telescope with us.

Yeah I had a look at the l.p map and we really do have it bad. Still, its pretty awesome even with the lp.

Typical, just got up to clear skies, haha

What parts you going to?

We are looking to go back around Christmas time.

down in the illawarra. Christmas time will be a bit warm. Wish I could have held out for the total eclipse.

just got here after 40hrs and guess what...... Clouds haha

Australia is inhabited by many venomous creatures. Many live on the land and include snakes (8 of the world's 10 deadliest land snakes), dozens of poisonous spiders and insects.
