I Just received my I T-ring and adapter today and just couldn't wait to try it out, Went outside and snapped a couple of solar shots.

Just a couple of single shots taken with my Travel scope 70mm and a cannon 1000D at prime focus. I really have no idea what I'm doing.. lol, but I'm happy with the result.

You should be very happy with those! The middle one is by far the best as you have the exposure right.

The next trick is to take around 40-80 frames with the 1000D (I take "large JPEG" for this) and stack them using Registax 5. If you don't have motor drive, don't worry just take your pictures and then use "centre of gravity" to stack your images. Then have a play with the wavelet sliders - you will be amazed just how much detail you can get!

So, I finally got around to trying out registax, I took 90 Frames from that the set of images above and put them through, I couldn't get alignment to work using "centre of gravity", SO I had to do it manually alignment.

So here is what I got out of it, a little more detail I think. I'm sure that as I spend some more time with the program I'll start to understand how it works a little better..
