My first attempt, this is 3 hours of 5 min exposures and quickly processed, think its got potential but guess i need a LOT more data ?

Oh taken with the kit in my signature.

I can see something there and you might well be able to tease more out of that data with processing. I've no doubt more data would help as you say :)

Thanks think more data is required and better processing. My scope is adding diffraction spikes to the central star which is a shame. Pretty sure I can see 2 fuzzies as well

If you want the shell then you need to take long subs and over expose the centre. You then need a set of shorter subs to capture the central area without blowing it. Composite these two images together for the final image :(

ahh thats interesting so 10 mins will be good but get some shorter ones as well.
