Found this on the internet and thought i d share it with you! A beautiful shot of the ANDROMEDA galaxy! One of the most colourful and most beautiful things ive ever seen!

Hard to believe its the closest galaxy to us!

That's the sort of 'benchmark' we should be aiming for, even if we never get there

And wouldn't it be nice to think that somewhere on a planet in the M31 system, a guy is saying the same thing about our galaxy.

Although I don't think our Island of stars will look as impressive to him. But, good enough perhaps.

I reckon the view from Andromeda back will be quite impresive with some of the star forming regions and the central bar in the Milky Way

I was stunned to see this galaxy for the first time.Even through it was very faint in my binoculars it was amazing.
